What is a licensed Paralegal?
A licensed paralegal is a regulated legal professional authorized by the Law Society of Ontario to provide specific legal services. In Ontario, licensed paralegals can represent clients before the Landlord and Tenant Board, Small Claims Court, and various administrative tribunals, often at a significantly lower cost than a lawyer.
Is Celerlex regulated by the Law Society of Ontario?
Yes. Celerlex Paralegal Professional Corporation is fully licensed and regulated by the Law Society of Ontario (LSO). Our credentials can be verified through the LSO’s public member registry at lso.ca.
What areas of law does Celerlex practise in?
Celerlex focuses on three core areas: Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) representation, notary services, and document commissioning. If your matter falls outside these areas, we will do our best to point you in the right direction.
Do you offer services in languages other than English?
Yes. Celerlex proudly serves clients in English, Hindi, Marathi, and Konkani.
Working with Us
How do I get started?
Simply book a free 30-minute consultation through our website. Come prepared with a brief summary of your situation; no documents are required for the initial call.
Does booking a consultation mean I’m a client?
Not automatically. A consultation — whether by phone, video, or in person does not establish a paralegal-client relationship. That relationship is only formed once a written retainer agreement has been signed by both you and the paralegal.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
We typically respond to all inquiries within one business day and can often schedule consultations within 24 to 48 hours depending on availability.
Do I need to come in person?
No. Celerlex is a remote-first practice. Consultations, document review, and most services are available virtually from anywhere in Ontario. If required, we can provide mobile services to meet in your preferred city.
Fees, Billing & Privacy
How much do your services cost?
Fees vary depending on the nature and complexity of the matter. Celerlex offers transparent, flat-fee pricing on most services. Specific fees are discussed during the initial consultation.
Is the initial consultation really free?
Yes. The first 30-minute consultation is completely free and carries no obligation.
Is my consultation confidential?
Yes. All information shared during a consultation is kept strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to unauthorized persons, except as required by the Law Society of Ontario or another applicable governing body.
Is it safe to send documents by email?
Email security cannot be guaranteed. By communicating with Celerlex via email or online contact forms, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with electronic communication. For sensitive documents, we can discuss more secure transfer options.
